Melodies of Unity with MTO Zendeh Delan Ensemble

On May 4, 2022, AFSACK hosted the fifth installment of its Salon Series with the Sufi-inspired MTO Zendeh Delan Ensemble, in conversation with ethnomusicologist and performer-composer Payam Yousefi.

The discussion explored the eclectic sounds of Zendeh Delan's new album, Melodies of Unity, and their creative process and inspirations from Sufi poetry. The conversation further examined their experiences of recording and making new music remotely during the pandemic across four countries.
